Asia’s Premier Design Awards

First launched in 2008, AYDA Awards (previously known as Asia Young Designer Awards) is part of Nippon Paint’s vision to nurture the next generation of Architectural and Interior Design talents. It serves as a platform to inspire students from these disciplines to develop their design skills through cross-learning opportunities and networking with key industry players as well as fellow peers in the region.

Since then, AYDA Awards has grown in reach and stature and has now established itself as one of Asia’s premier design awards. It has received more than 50,000 entries till date from over 1,300 educational institutions across 19 geographical locations.

2023 AYDA Awards Winners & Finalists

    ASIA YOUNG DESIGNER AWARDS (AYDA) 2021
    PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD VOTING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
      1. The “People’s Choice Award” voting is open to all residents and permanent residents in Malaysia aged 18 years and above.

      2. The vote commences from 12:00 am, 22nd November 2021 and closes at 11:59pm, 29th November 2021, after which all votes will be tallied and verified by Nippon Paint (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“the Organizer”).

      3. Any vote received after the closing date on 29th November 2021 will be automatically rejected.

      4. All the top 12 AYDA finalists design from each of Architectural and Interior Design categories will be eligible for the “People Choice Award” voting.

      5. The public can place a vote for the best Architectural or Interior Design drawing submitted by the total 24 AYDA finalists, of which there will only be ONE (1) winner.

      6. There is no fee or any purchase required to cast votes for your preferred design as a voter.

      7. A voter is limited to only ONE (1) vote per design and up to THREE (3) votes for THREE (3) different designs per email address.

      8. Voting with more than one (1) vote per design per email address will be automatically disqualified and not counted in the vote.

      9. To vote, please follow the following method:-

      9.1. Access the voting page at www.asiayoungdesignerawards.com.my

      9.2. Register for an account to be a registered voter.

      9.3. Review all the 24 designs from both the Architectural and Interior Design categories.

      9.4. Select only one (1) vote per design, and/or up to a total of three (3) design per email address by clicking on the heart icon.

      10. The design which receives the highest number of votes from both the Architectural and Interior Design categories will be deemed as the winner of AYDA People’s Choice Award.

      11. In the event of two (2) or more design receiving the same number of votes, the Organizer shall reserve the right to make the final decision of the winning design of the People’s Choice Award.

      12. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will only be announced during the AYDA ceremony on 30th December 2021.

      13. The People’s Choice Award winner shall receive a RM300 cash prize and a certificate during the award ceremony. The prize is non-transferable and not exchangeable for other items or packages.

      14. All finalists for the People’s Choice Award Voting agreed to abide by the Terms and Conditions that their personal information, photos and design to be used by the Organizer for the purpose of communication, marketing and promotion of Nippon Paint (M) Sdn. Bhd. products and services.

      15. By participating in the vote, it is deemed that all voters agree to comply and be bound by the terms and conditions stated in https://www.asiayoungdesignerawards.com.my

      16. The decision of the judges appointed by the Organizer are final, conclusive and binding, and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondences will be entertained in relation to every aspect of the vote including but not limited to the type of Prize and Winner.

      17. The Organizer reserves the rights to amend any of these Terms and Conditions stated herein without prior notice.
